As many artists are I am available for commissions where I will create a painting by your specifications either landscape, portrait or abstract work in a variety of mediums. The rights to use my work are also available please contact me for the licensing information. I will be happy to guide you through the commission process as well as payment schedule and try to manage your expectations of my work. I will also provide the contract based on requirements that will be signed by you and myself. Payments for the work should be made through paypal if the commission.

Fee schedule:

• For the works of under 100AUD in value the full amount is payable upfront
• For the works over 100AUD in value 50% is payable before the work commences to cover the cost of the materials, 25% when work is at 75% to completion and another 25% when work is to be shipped.
• Payment for shipping and handling will be paid before painting is shipped.
• Only when payment has cleared the painting will be shipped, please note that things like echeque take up to a week to clear.

At the end of commission the copyright and intellectual rights to the work remain with me unless the rights are additionally purchased. I also reserve the right to display the work on my website. If you would like to gain the rights to my work, or license it that can be additionally purchased.

Other:

Size, colours, background and composition will be agreed in advance. For the landscapes and portraits the quality of the end product will depend on the quality of the photo provided. Please note that I can work from the low quality or old photos however the detail of the work and the likeness might not be exact, and I will have to use artistic freedoms to make up the missing parts.

On the beginning of the commission process I will try to provide you with the estimate of the time that it would take to complete the work and dates for the fee schedule. I do expect the payments to be made on time, as well as for myself to meet the deadlines. Please note that I am the artist and that this is my business and I treat it as such. As a small business owner it is imperative to me to receive all payments on time since it is what I live off in the end.
