Artist Biography & Statement

 

 

 

Sandra Pelly (Andrijasevic Baraci  believes that the art is an expression of the emotion and through her work she tries to capture the range of emotions and experiences that she went through in her life. She tries to draw inspiration from her experiences, memories and people around her and transfer it through the medium into a painting.

 

Through her work Sandra tries to portray her inner dialogues, conversations that are left lingering inside of her from the past, she expresses her emotions, thoughts and memories. Through recent work, by focusing on portraiture, Sandra attempts to capture the human condition, human nature, the ephemeral, a glimpse of the human soul.

 

Sandra has her artworks in a number of private collections worldwide. Sandra is a member of Contemporary Art Society of Victoria Inc, she is also active member of a number of online traditional artist communities.
