As an artist I jump at the opportunity to explore the human expression and human face. Through them I try not only to capture the likeness of the image but also the personality, and things that make the subject unique. I usually work from photo using it as a reference point, but also I always ask the subject or the person comissioning the portrait to tell me a bit about the subject themselves, what they like and dislike, what they like about themselves, and how they perceive themselves. I work in variety of media from watercolour to acrylic and oils. I am always open for comissions please do contact me if you are interested in portrait.
