I frequently return to the place of my youth, Makarska, Croatia and paint it with all my heart since it gives me the hope in brighter tomorrow. In my thoughts while painting I dont only return to my youth but reminisque about the way of life that once was that is slowly dissapearing. I try to conserve it through my paintings of small Dalmatian streets, marinas and boats. I frequently get commissioned to paint these boats by people who love their boat sometimes as much as closest of their family.
